Hi, I’m Yvette, I have decided to start an an adventure abroad, by moving half way around the world to London!
Like many people, I was taught to go to college, get a job, get married, have kids and live happily ever after. Not once did I consider that chasing the societal idea of “success” would lead me to an unfulfilling and unhappy life.
In 2018, I had achieved my bucket list goal of 30 countries before 30 years old and I still wasn’t satisfied. I was unhappy that I would wish away my year, only looking forward to my 3 weeks of leave a year. So took a hiatus from my career and moved aboard to enable me to spend more of my year doing what I love, travelling, as Australia is very remote.

HOW OLD ARE YOU?
I am a Sagittarius born in 1991!
WHAT CAMERA GEAR DO YOU USE?
I capture everything on our Sony A7Sii. Our favourite lens is the Sony 18-35 f/2.8. Favourite drone is the DJI Spark. Favourite action/underwater camera is the GoPro Hero 7.
HOW CAN YOU AFFORD TO TRAVEL SO MUCH?
Prioritising travel. I managed to travel to 40+ countries all on my own money and while working full time. I would love to be able to enable and inspire you to do the same, by teaching you my tips and ticks on this blog and youtube channel, on cost cutting to maximise travel!
YouTube & blogging is a hobby for now, that I would love to turn into a full time job!
WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE DESTINATION?
This is probably the hardest question we get asked, it is ever changing! Each country is so unique and special in it’s own way, however a few that have really captured our hearts are Bolivia, Iceland, United Kingdom, Korea and Brazil
