Vegan Nights Market
I attended Vegan Nights in Shoreditch for the second time. Vegan nights is a night market where you are able to purchase all manner of Vegan food, most of which you will regret in the morning, the best kind. They also sell handicrafts and there are many vegan vendors selling t-shirts to soap. The night ends with a big dance party with a DJ, although I am always too much for a grandma for actual partying.
It was their birthday, so they were giving away goodie bags and balloons, I really felt like a proper child. It was a great evening, I highly recommend attending if you are at all interested in the vegan movement!
IT: Chapter 2 Premier
I was so fortunate to meet a friend on Bumble- yes you can meet friends on bumble, who knew! Who happened to get tickets to go to the UK premier of IT: Chapter 2. Firstly, I would of been so happy to just to get free cinema tickets, but to go to an actual screening with the cast! Amazing! This was a massive bucket list tick for me and I feel so lucky that the stars aligned for it happen. Oh I like the movie too! Bill Hader is so great in it.
Going on a British Picnic
I bid farewell to summer, and hello to Autumn, with a lovely picnic in the Hampstead Heath! All summer I have been seeing people having a lovely picnic outside in the parks, something British people do very well. But I did not have a rug, an integral part of a picnic.
So I finally committed and ordered my favorite one off Amazon, and away we went. We made our own Humus and bought a baget, it was truly picturquest.
Borderless live
I attended my first ever Travel Conference! I attended Borderless Live in London. I have always wanted to attend an event like this, however they did not really happen when I was in Australia. It was an amazing two days, although tiring, I was able to learn so much from so many creators.
It was bizarre going to an conference like this, because it was so similar to my corporate conference I am forced to attend, but I was actually interested in the topics and I was there by choice. It was a fun little brain fart.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
If you have been reading here for a while, you will know that I am a big ( Understatement if I am honest) Harry Potter nerd, see HERE for my all my Harry Potter content.
But I had not been to see the Harry Potter Play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child! A travesty! I was finally able to rectify this in September. I’ve be fortunate to be able to go to many plays in my time, but none have had the special effects of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It is not a musical, which i think is a good thing, it wouldn’t of fit with the Harry Potter vibe. It is more like a magic show.
If you have a spare 6 hours and £300, I highly recommend it! It is an amazing play and you can see all the work that has gone into it. It is still selling out faster than ever, so make sure you leave plenty of time.
The Great British Bake Off
Summer is over, which means Love Island is over. I’ve been looking for a new reality tv show to fill the void and low and behold, Bake off is back! ( Its like they planned it or something?) I love Bake off and used to watch it in Australia, 12 hours later than everyone else. I was so excited to finally be able to join the rest of the UK and live Tweet the episodes. The bants on twitter are much better in real time!
If you haven’t watched The Great British Bake Off, it is an ameniture baking show filled with all sorts of amazing Brits. It is the more heartwarming wholesome thing on tv at the moment. When some is struggling, all the contestants come together to help each other. Who would of thought I’d get this emotional about a cake?!
So far my favourite is Michael and Henry, obviously Jamie has a special place in my heart but let’s be realistic, he was not going to win! Let me know your Bake off Opinions, I need more people to talk about this with!
